- Professional Philosophy on Ultrasound: Ultrasound is a true “visual stethoscope” for doctors in every specialty. It is safe, widely available, repeatable, and performed in real time at the bedside, making it first-line for many conditions. Elastography can assess liver fibrosis and steatosis without a biopsy, if correctly performed and interpreted by an experienced doctor in the clinical and laboratory context. Believing ultrasound is only as good as the hands holding the probe, Dr. Lupșor-Platon initiated many ultrasound courses for students, residents, and doctors, and developed an online learning platform for Romanian residents.
- Personalisation: Outside her clinical and academic work, Dr. Lupșor-Platon enjoys travel, reading and watching movies.
