Societe Togolaise D’Ultrasonographie Medicale, Togo, established in 2013, Independent February 2018.

COE Course: LOME COE and STUM CONGRESS

The COE of Lomé is going well and is carrying out its local activities in Togo and in sub-Saharan Africa, even if these activities had been slowed down by the Covid 19 pandemic.

 Its activities for this year will unfold as follows :

  1. Teaching and training mission in Yaoundé, Cameroon

STUM/COE Lomé carried out a teaching and training mission in Cameroon from December 8 to 10, 2022. Professor SONHAYE Lantam actively participated in the Yaoundé Congress in Cameroon.
He presented two conferences:
(1. Ultrasound of thigh muscle trauma
2. Ultrasound in the resuscitation room) and a training workshop (EFAST echography).
The number of participants was over 200 people.

  1. Training workshop at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Lomé

– Dates: September 4 to 9, 2023

– Objectives: training in ultrasound in the emergency room

– Trainers: Togolese teachers

– Number of participants expected: 80 7th year medical students from Togo universities

  1. Training workshop at the Army Health Service School in Lomé

Dates: November 20 to 25, 2023

– Objectives: training in ultrasound in the emergency room

– Trainers: Togolese teachers

– Number of participants expected: 40 military doctors from the Togolese Armed Forces

  1. Recruitment of doctors for the diploma training of the university diploma in ultrasound

– Dates: October 24 to 27, 2023

– Objectives: Diploma training in general ultrasound

– Trainers: Togolese teachers

– Number of participants expected: 25 Lomé
