- Professional Philosophy on Ultrasound: Ultrasound is totally safe. The equipment is relatively less expensive and can be mobilised for bedside or field examinations. The information yield is tremendous vis a vis the cost of investigation. It does remain an operator dependant procedure, and therefore the need for proper training and experience.
