Having begun his career using static equipment that few would recognize today, he could hardly have imagined in the 1980s how ultrasound would evolve into real-time examinations and later incorporate spectral Doppler, color Doppler, power Doppler, harmonic imaging, elastography, liver fat quantification, and countless artificial intelligence tools.
- Personalisation He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, particularly at the beach house. In his free time, he likes watching soccer—especially matches featuring Esporte Clube Vitória, his favorite club—going to the gym, and watching movies on Netflix. He also has a deep passion for teaching and for helping raise awareness of ultrasound.
