- Education/Training: Prof. Sirli is a graduate of the “Victor Babes” University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Timisoara, Romania, where she also had her training as fellow. In 2009 she defended her PhD thesis and, in 2017, her habilitation thesis at the same university.

- Professional Philosophy on Ultrasound: Ultrasound is a part of the clinical examination. It allows one “to see” inside the patient, without any delay, to integrate anamnesis, clinical signs, and imaging. Contrast-enhanced US, elastography, and Doppler enable a thorough and quick evaluation of the patient, allowing a rapid diagnosis and treatment decision. It can also be used in therapy to guide interventions in real time. Students should be familiarized with ultrasound during university. Ultrasound training should be continued during fellowship and throughout the professional life.
